Rovers end The Royals 8 match winning streak and earn an all important point at The Keepmoat.

It was Dean Saunders' lads that took the lead on 27 minutes when Kyle Bennett blasted in El-Hadji Diouf's build up play to finish a well worked  team move.

Rovers were very lucky not to conceed more than one, as The Royals had missed three 'sitters', although they did finally bury one when Pearce on 51 minutes headed Ian Harte's corner to make it 1-1.

Ikeme pulled off two fine saves towards the end of the match to keep the scoreline level after 90 minutes.

Both sides played well and it has to be said a draw was a fair reflection on the performance over all.

Brian McDermott's side move into the automatic promotion places, while Rovers remain unbeaten in the last five and are now three points off safety.
