Rovers slipped to a 3rd consecutive defeat at home to Blackpool.

Ciaran Donnelly's managed to get on the edge of a decent cross in the 67th minute as Blackpool got their second win of the season; It left Rovers 2nd from bottom and about 10 points behind League 1 leaders Brentford.

Jonathan Forte, made an impressive debut after signing him on a 1 month loan from Sheff Utd by twisting and turning past the
Blackpool defenders with ease.

Paul Heffernan, started the game as Guy was banned for a match for being sent off for shoving in the
Huddersfield home defeat.

Blackpool threatened on the break and a good chance came when Scott Vernon shot down the middle speeding past the rovers defence but his effort was hit straight at Andy Warrington.

Simon Wiles did well on the right-hand side for
Blackpool early in the second half but his cut back didn't get the finish it deserved from Keith Southern.

Moments later Forte was away down the left again but his shot was well saved by Pogliacomi.

Then against the run of play
Blackpool took the lead as Keigan Parker got away down the right and put an inviting low cross in behind the defence for Donnelly to slot home.

Sean Thornton curled a free-kick just well wide for Rovers in the closing minutes, and that just summed up the game for Rovers during the season so far, let's hope that rovers get a run together soon or could we be relegation fodder?
