Doncaster moved five points clear at the top of Division Three with a dominant display against ten-man Kidderminster.

The visitors had defender Scott Stamps sent off for a second bookable offence early in the second half, but Rovers had already made their mark and were leading 2-0 at that stage.

Impressive defender Mark Albrighton gave them a fifth-minute lead with a tremendous header following a splendid corner from Michael McIndoe.

Kidderminster passed the ball around impressively at times but were unable to find a way past Doncaster's rock solid defence in which Albrighton and skipper Steve Foster were outstanding.

Rovers missed chances and had to wait until the stroke of half time before adding their second goal.

Paul Green, who otherwise had a magnificent match, produced a bad miss when he fired wide in the 16th minute after McIndoe and Dave Mulligan had set up the chance.

Green was out of luck again when he fired home in the 31st minute only to be ruled offside.

But the home side were rewarded for their persistence in first-half stoppage-time with a brilliant goal from Gregg Blundell who seized on a return pass form Leo Fortune-West and curled the ball home in clinical style.

Stamps' dismissal in the 48th minute opened the floodgates as Rovers ruthlessly hammered home their advantage.

Ricky Ravenhill rounded off a splendid attacking move in which Green and Blundell were involved, when he added the third with a neat strike in the 56th minute.

Blundell made it 4-0 in the 78th minute when he slotted home his 16th goal of the season after racing onto a through ball from Mulligan.

Kidderminster battled all the way but John Williams squandered a great opportunity to notch a consolation goal, before Mulligan capped a great night for Doncaster with a cracking strike on his home debut in the last minute.
