A three goal blitz at the start of the second half put Doncaster back on the winning path and back into the top three.

The last time the television cameras visited Belle Vue for live coverage Rovers hammered Dagenham 5-1 with a sparkling display. They were unable to reproduce that kind of form, but found the finishing touch after the interval to provide another entertaining display for the viewers.

Woking played their part with some skillful attacking play of their own, but were unable to take advantage when the home side were reduced to ten men after having midfielder Ricky Ravenhill sent off for a second bookable offence in the 76th minute.

It was Woking who started the better of the two teams and it needed a brilliant save by Andy Warrington to prevent Neil Smith heading the visitors in front in the seventh minute.

RoversÂ’ first threat came from Andy Watson who hit a low angled drive inches wide of the post, after cutting inside from the left five minutes later.

Woking keeper Shwan Jalal did well to save a tremendous free-kick from Dean Barrick in the 20th minute and also came to the rescue to prevent a Dean Austin back pass entering the net five minutes later.

A male streaker brought jeers from the crowd just before the interval and it was Doncaster who provided the entertainment straight after the break.

Dave Morley headed them in front when he was left unmarked following a 46th minute corner and Robert Gill made it 2-0 with another well taken header four minutes later.

Woking hit back when the home defence went missing allowing Warren Patmore to head home unchallenged from Johnathan Coates' cross in the 53rd minute.

But Jamie Paterson restored Rovers two goal cushion when he cut inside from the right to hammer home a left-foot shot following an excellent move in the 60th minute.

Ravenhill's 76th minute dismissal made no difference and although Patmore had an effort disallowed for offside Rovers finished worthy winners
