Penney signs on for more

In a show of how much he loves his job Dave Penney signed a further extension on his contract, now keeping him with the Rovers for another four years.

Penney, who had a stint as co-manager with Mark Atkins previous to him accepting the lead role after the dismissal of Steve Wignall has tasted nothing but promotion in his two full seasons in charge at Doncaster. " I feel we can go further, and I want to be at the front when this happens" said Penney explaining his reasons.
