Who could the new midfielder be?

With the talk of a substantial bid for a midfielder we all have our ideas on who it will be. Most of us know the types of players Penney looks for and these three stand out as possibilities.

Gavin Williams.
Pacey, can tackle all day and puts in crosses for fun. McIndoe proved what a fast tricky winger can achieve in a Dave Penney side and Williams has all the tools. Instrumental in the League draw at Huish Park last season Gavin Williams would grace any team that plays with wingers as Yeovil and Doncaster do.

Liam Lawrence
They always say you can never be famous in your home town, unless your Ricky Ravenhill. Liam Lawrence suffers with this one slightly as he still lives in Sunny Doncaster and a few of the fans think he has the "Do you know who I am?" problem. Liam is known for wicked crosses and getting goals from the right wing.

James Coppinger
Reportedly Penney already made a bid for this lad at the begining of the season. Coppinger is another player who does an incredible job down the right wing although I admit to never having seen him playas our teams passed each other in leagues this season.

One thing to realise is that Williams is the only one not out of contract this summer, so would really be the only one to put a substantial bid in for. Coppinger and Lawrence will be out of contract so their value decreases (although not their value as players).
