Prediction Time

So, everyone's giving it a go at the moment. This prediction lark is easy, stick your team at the top (top six if you don't want to look biased), your rivals in the bottom three and then fill in the spaces in between.

I've tried my best to be impartial and look at the merits of each side. But lets face it, the MK Dons don't have much going for them and I'm never in a month of Sundays going to predict Rotherham or Scunny as Champions. Good job they're both pretty rank so I don't have to worry about it this year!

1. Tranmere Rovers (despite losing their best player, will still be a class act)
2. Huddersfield (surprise package I think)
3. Brentford (much as it pains me to have these long ball thugs here, it really does work for them)
4. Gillingham (too strong and experienced)
5. Donny Rovers
6. Nottingham Forest (or is it County? I always get them mixed up, they should merge and form one decent team.
7. Oldham
8. Bournemouth
9. Swindon Town
10. Barnsley
11. Yeovil (Cue, yet more crying about how crap the "SP" is!)
12. Port Vale
13. Blackpool
14. Bristol City (expect them to struggle. Sold too many good players and replaced them with has-beens and the permenantly wounded)
15. Rotherham (God that hurt!)
16. Bradford
17. Chesterfield
18. Hartlepool (really think they'll struggle under new management, which would be a shame)
19. Walsall (another one to surprisingly struggle)
20. Colchester
21. Southend (didn't look up to much in the playoff games and haven't strengthed massively)
22. Swansea (but am really looking forward to visiting the new ground)
23. MK Dongs (should have gone last year, will be missed by no-one)
24. Scunny Utd (with super Tommy Johnson they'll be straight back down)

So, no great surprises except maybe Huddersfield in second and Hartlepool in eighteenth. Should be an interesting season.
