Vote Of Confidence For O'Driscoll

The midweek home defeat against Barnsley saw Rovers slip to the bottom of the Championship table but chairman Ryan has called on supporters to give the Rovers' boss their full backing as the team aim to end a run of ten games without a win.

"Some people want the manager to go but let's get some facts out in the open," Ryan has said.

"Clubs who change their manager every five minutes never achieve anything.

"We are in the trenches at the moment and need the true fans of the club to get behind us.

"Sean O'Driscoll has brought the best football seen at Doncaster for over 50 years. Get behind him and stop moaning and groaning.

"The board and major shareholders have subsidised the club through a share issue in excess of £2million.

"But it is much different for us playing against clubs who have had £12million parachute payments."
