To sign or not to sign...

As always Dave "tight wad" Penney is keeping his cards very close to his chest. While John Ryan is chomping at the bit to spend thousands Dave is doing his Yorkshire tightness persona no harm at all. So while Teletext is full of teams signing players you've never heard off on Bosmans, Donny fans are sat patiently waiting for the huge signings that have been promised.

So, what have we seen so far? The reasonably impressive centre half, Roberts from relegated Wrexham, two Danish Keepers from clubs no-ones ever heard of and er, thats it. So three signings although if you've seen the size of the younger keeper then I think we've technically signed four players. Streetwise have put in a special order for leather skis instead of trying to get specially made boots for the lad.

It also seems that every man and his dog is linked to us by someone or forum user. Heffernen, Henderson, Parkin, McFail (I'll edit that if he signs!) and half of Sheff Utds squad are just the beginning. Of course none of it is substantiated by the official site. Of course that could be because someones off sick and no-one knows how to use a computer, hence the non-appearance of Doolans departure.
