Im a loyal Rovers fan and i have never booed them off the pitch after any game. But something is goin rong this is surposed tho be our 'Going for it' season now its more like 'Can we stay up?' i totaly respect Dave Penney but he is making lots of mistakes, like playing leo fortune-west and not playin thornton, i could pick a winning team. We hav amazing players and iv herd
alot of them have fallen out with Penney, im going to see if Penney can turn it round and keep us up.

The verdict is out for me im afraid, I think penny has done a fantastic job for us including his days as a player, he has been a great servant to the club. However with the calls for penny out I think that he may decide move on before pushed, I then fear that we may not be able to replace him. My worries about penny stem from his tactical approach and team selection, as I am sure supports are aware penny does have his favs and does appear to have a stubborn streak. We can play any team off the park that want to play football against us, however, if the opposition have other ideas we seem to have no answer, we are playing championship football in league 1 and I don't believe that pure football is the way out of this division. If Keagan did come to rovers should penny leave, im sure we would see exiting attacking football down at belle vue, like the team of the eighties used to produce. I'm not sure that's the answer either. Pros and cons, like I say the verdicts out and maybe its a case of better the devil ya know! Come on Penney!

One of the things I love about Doncaster is the clever wit on the terraces but it would seem a number of fans have left their brains behind. I have been fortunate to watch over the past few seasons a really excellent manager at work. The first time I realised how good he was when we turned up at the Conference Play off final and he had put two young lads in the centre of midfield, Greeny and Ricky Ravenhill. I wonder how many fans thought that was the great decision it proved to be at the beginning of the game.

I have then watched him make hard decisions that players who we loved were not good enough for the division(s) we were now in. Invariably he was proved right as have been most of his acquisitions in the transfer market. Stand up all those fans who were calling him for signing Heffernan at the beginning of the season and what a great buy that has been.

There maybe some current problems in the squad but I trust him to sort them out. At least it tells me he is still very much in charge. Hopefully it will stay that way.

I cannot believe all these cries for "Penney out", we are having our first really bad run since he became manager. I was at saturdays game and admit we didn't start playing until we were 2-0 down but I don't think the pitch helped our style of passing football, I think we are missing a few key players at the moment especially Steve Roberts who was the most consistent player in the team until his injury. The fans turning on Penney will not help the players confidence so stop your whinging and get behind everyone at the club!!!!
