Sean O'Driscoll-We've had no contact with Cardiff over Paul Parry
There has been speculation in South Wales this week that Rovers were lining up a £500,000 bid for the former Wales international, although the Doncaster boss has denied that there has been any contact between the two clubs, though in the market for a midfielder following the departure of Richie Wellens.
A £75,000 signing from Liverpool, Parry has proved a real bargain buy - though he is reported to have had a disappointing second half of last season.
Parry retired from international duty citing personal reasons and failed to nail down a regular position - playing on both flanks and in attack for the Bluebirds.
At his best, Parry is regarded as a pacy, direct and a potent threat, but Cardiff fans rarely saw glimpses of that form as he failed to contribute last season.
Cardiff boss Dave Jones is looking to shake-up his midfield and free up space on the wage bill and would be unlikely to stand in Parry's way if a club matched his valuation of the player.
