Rovers team up with Robin Hood Airport

Robin Hood Airport is backing The Rovers with the signing of a major new commercial partnership. The Airport is teaming up with its home town club Doncaster Rovers FC in the win-win deal which will see Robin Hood Airport Doncaster, being the Official Airport and Travel Partner of the club.

The Rovers will exclusively use the Airport for away match travel, advertise within the Airport and use the site for promotional purposes.

The Airport has agreed an advertising and hospitality package at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Jodi Stow, marketing and communications manager at Robin Hood Airport said: "Doncaster Rovers are a key part of the local community, so it is great news that the Airport will be working together with the club.

"Obviously it's a benefit to work in close partnership with Doncaster's premier sports club - they're in the Championship now, which get's national TV exposure, so it's great for the Airport to have our brand associated with the Keepmoat Stadium and the team."

Laura Whiting, commercial manager at Doncaster Rovers, said: "Having the facilities of a local Airport is a big thing for the people of Doncaster and is something to be proud of. "From the club's point of view this partnership is huge, as we can pass on any benefits to our loyal fan base. It's important for us to source such business partners who can give something back."
