"I've basically been training recently at Nottingham Forest but it was recommended to Rovers that they take a look at me," Waite told the club's official website.
"I've been on trial at Doncaster Rovers for a while now and it's been fantastic.
"The club is awesome and it definitely looks to be going places. The goalkeepers here are top-class."
