O'Driscoll said: "We got done on a counter attack for the first goal and you've got to be aware of that at home.

Rovers had looked to have been hard done by midway through the first half when striker Paul Heffernan had claims for a spot kick rejected
O'Driscoll said: "From where I was it looked like a stonewall penalty but when I looked at it on the video the referee had got it right.

"It is difficult when you are 2-0 down and the crowd are moaning because they want you to get the ball forward more quickly.
"But when they've got every player behind the ball, all you are doing is playing into their hands.

"I thought that we did all the things that we've been doing all season. it is easy when you 2-0 up, or when things are going well. But it shows a lot of character when things aren't going for you, and you have lost one or two players, to carry on doing it and I thought that we did that to a man."

Rovers brought on new loan signing Kazenga LuaLua in the second half and in addition to having a hand in Hayter's goal he acquitted himself well.

O'Driscoll said: "He'll give us something. He's got an eye for goal but he's still young and a lot of the things that we do will be new to him. I would like to have brought him on when we were winning by two or three goals, but I thought that he coped with it well. He's here until the end of the season and hopefully he'll do well for us."
