The Bluebirds took over top spot in the Championship on goal difference last Sunday when beating Bristol City 3-0. "I watched the game on television. They looked a very good team and it is going to be another tough game," said Rovers striker James Hayter. "They just missed out on the play-offs last season and they'll be looking to go one better this time around - especially after moving into their new stadium. "They spent a lot of money on Michael Chopra during the summer and he has wasted no time in proving value for money. "He has scored a lot of goals at this level over the years and he's scored eight this season so far, which is a great return. "But they are by no means a one-man team and they've got quality throughout the side with people like Joe Ledley." Rovers go into the game languishing in the lower half of the league, needing to collect some sort of result. "We knew that it was going to be tough because there are no easy games in this league," said Hayter. "Having said that we've probably been a bit unlucky to have picked up only three points from our first four league games. "There are a couple of games that we drew which could have won and that would have made a big difference to both our points tally and our league position. "I certainly don't feel that three points out of a possible 12 reflects how well we've played in those games. "It was obviously disappointing to lose our unbeaten record at Middlesbrough, but we aren't going to come up against teams of that stature every week. "If you look at their team which played against us, it was pretty similar to the one which played in the Premiership last season. "We were disappointed with the first goal we conceded and it was always going to be difficult from then on. "Their two centre-backs are as good as anything in the Championship - indeed they are proven in the Premiership - and had not conceded a goal in their first three league games. "So we knew that it was going to be difficult to score against them."
