But better still would be to go to Plymouth and win the game and remove all doubts."

Rovers produced back-to-back "chalk and cheese" performances over the Easter period according to manager O'Driscoll.

They virtually made sure of staying in the Championship with a superb 3-1 victory at Ipswich Town on Saturday before letting their standards slip with a 2-0 defeat at home to Preston on Monday.

O'Driscoll was as disappointed as he has looked all season after the Preston game and O'Kelly said: "We're looking for a reaction against Plymouth.

"We've shown character and perseverance in almost every game I can think of this season but we just seemed to be lacking a lot of things once Preston went ahead.

"I actually thought we were the better side up to then but we looked very disjointed and lacklustre after that.

"Sean said afterwards it wasn't good enough and he was right because we were all over the shop.

"But we've seen what the players can do this season and we can probably count the occasions we've underperformed on one hand.
"All we want now is a reaction - and it doesn't matter how far we have to travel to achieve it.

"It's how you perform that dictates whether the journey turns out to be gruelling or not."
