Doncaster's on-loan defender Elliott Ward could return, but Shelton Martis (hamstring) and midfielder Martin Woods (groin) are still out. Jason Shackell (groin) and ex-Preston man Brian Stock (back) are also sidelined.
MATCH PREVIEW
Doncaster, who have only ever won once in the league at Deepdale, head to Preston full of confidence after thrashing Bristol City 5-2 on Saturday.
They would do very well to enjoy another scoring spree against a Preston side that has been hard to break down on their own patch. Only 15 of the 49 goals North End have conceded this season have been shipped at home.
Doncaster are one place above Preston, who are 13th and had to settle for a draw against struggling Plymouth at the weekend.
Boss Darren Ferguson bemoaned their poor finishing after that game, and his side are only six points above the relegation zone after winning only one of their last five matches.
