Going into the 2nd leg after a goalless draw at Roots Hall Doncaster tore the Shrimpers apart with a 5 star display.

"We've been performed like that for most of the season, so you've got to score the goals and tonight we scored the goals," said O'Driscoll.

"Sometimes it doesn't happen like that. I'm pleased for everybody.

"The goals were the big difference. A lot of play-off teams struggle in the home legs we just felt we needed to match their determination.

"I thought we did that from the first whistle."

James Coppinger scored a hat trick with the boss saying

"I wish he'd have done this at Cheltenham and we'd have saved all this.

"He's got sublime skills and he just needs to add the end product and he did today."
