From the North:- Leave the M1 at Junction 37 and take the A628 towards Barnsley. Stay on this road (the ground is well signposted) and you will eventually see the ground on your right.
From the East:
- Take the A628, go over the River Dearne, then go past Beevor Hall, 200 yards past the Hall turn right into Grove Street where you will find the ground.
Oakwell is a 23 000 seater Stadium that is frankly , nice. Catering used to be very good but rumours are its gone downhill a touch. Theres plenty of parking at Oakwell but the lack of approach roads can make it awkward to get in and out of. I go up quite often because of the Vespa Dealers round the corner (Ron Candlers) and theres always some form of roadworks on the approach.
It looks like we are allocated the whole of the North Stand , but I seriously doubt beer will be served although the Chicken Balti pies will be.
If anyone wants a tip, dont drink in the Town Centre wearing a Rovers Shirt Wednesday tea time, you know it makes sense.
