It was nailed on wasn't it?

The lad who coined the term Ghetto Football on his return to Belle Vue getting a goal? you'd have struggled to get evens on it. 9 mins in and although Andy Warrington stopped his first attempt the follow up made the net bulge and the old superstition that ex strikers tend to score was played out.

And then the real star of the game took over, Eddie Evans. Eddie Evans and Doncaster go back years, since he sent off one player for a tackle about as aggresive as Sweden and another for having his spine stamped on. Rovers players booked for simple tackles, Torquay players allowed to push players in the face with no punishment. Same old Eddie Evans for me.

I'd like to say it was nice to see Eddie Evans again, but it wasn't.

Two goals from McIndoe rescued what looked like three points for Rovers until Fenton waived the white flag on another physical encounter and the Gulls equalised. In all fairness Torquay weren't such a bad side and were worth the draw, but whenever we see Evans or Kettle on the back of the program Doncaster might as well pack up their troubles.
