Ipswich in the League Cup

After season by season being drawn away in cup competition the Gods of Northern football swing the balance back in our favour by summoning Ipswich to Belle Vue. The Championship side, who are not in the richest vein of form will visit in the League cup, labelling Doncaster as a potential banana skin.

The ease of the victory over Port Vale when the Leage pressure was off shows that Doncaster may have the ability to provide one of the upsets in the next round of the cup.
