Speaking to Sky Sports News earlier Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll says he has a number of injury worries heading into the crunch clash with Norwich City this evening
Midfielders Brian Stock (calf) and Martin Woods (virus), as well as defender Matt Mills (illness) all have question marks surrounding their participation.
The trio all failed to train on Thursday and look set for late fitness tests ahead of the game.
Should they fail to recover in time, either Mark Wilson or Paul Heffernan are on stand-by to step in for Stock or Woods.Adam Lockwood could keep his place or Sam Hird will be ready to fill the void should Mills be ruled unfit.
O'Driscoll has no other selection headaches and could stick with an otherwise unchanged squad following the 1-0 win at Sheffield United on Tuesday, which would again mean a place on the bench for striker Byfield.
