Injuries and Draws

Well a typical start to the season - top scorer one goal, Paul Heffernan. Two points on the board, even Scunny above us!! Maybe we can now draw 2-2 score some more goals and finally get 3 points and also to help with the Coca Cola goal chase, as we seem to not to do so well in this department. Maybe when we play Jeff's boys we could score a few goals and get above Scunny like we should be.

Well injuries, never a good time to have some. Greeny, Thornton and McGuire all injured but Greeny has a serious one with an ankle problem since the pre-season games, when he picked up some ligament damage and is doubtful for the Hartlepool game. Phil McGuire has been getting treatment after a horror two footed tackle in the MK dons game, but hopes are that he will be fit. Sean Thornton has been having treatment and will be fit. Marples is out with a groin injury and Jan Butdz is making a slow recovery.

Other news play-off hero Franny Tierney has been released by Northwich Victoria after hoping to play again after a knee injury.
