Has Doolan cashed in his chips?

It has been reported that John Doolan has had a medical and is to sign for League 1 rivals Blackpool today. After a drawn out contract dispute with the club it doesn't come as a massive surprise but still not welcome news.

The lure of a two year contract and being closer to his Liverpool base are bound to be two major factors in Johns decision. We can only hope that Penney has irons in a number of fires as the midfield is now looking distinctly threadbare.

We'll miss you John, although I'm sure the Dingles are pleased you'll still be in the same division next season.
