Foster On The Move

Fans were shocked at the news of Fosters departure last week, It came after a bust up with Penney, but he moves on and has said to have been training whith Scunthorpe United over the past few days, also could be a possible starter at Glanford Park due to Scunthorpes current defensive injuries.

Foster signed for the Rovers in the summer of 2002, but was unable to displace Albrighton, Morley or Ryan. He bided his time and in February 2003 took the chance to establish himself in the first team. Proved to be a fine, consistent performer at centre half and was appointed captain at the beginning of season 2003-04, leading the club to the Division 3 Championship and promotion.


We wish Foster well, he did a brilliant job for us, helping us get to where we are now, and look forward to seeing him play on Saturday! (If the move goes ahead).
