Scunthorpe United are expecting to complete the signing of former Rovers captain Steve Foster later today.
Fossie, who recently left Belle Vue by mutual consent after a bust-up with Dave Penney in early January is expected to put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at Glanford Park until the end of next season.
Foster made 22 appearances this season for us, and 138 since a £150,000 move from Bristol Rovers.
This has added that extra bit of spice to the local as he could make his debut during the game on Saturday.
