Bristol City midfielder Michael McIndoe has hailed his former club Doncaster Rovers as "unbelievable" ahead of tonight's clash at the Keepmoat Stadium.
McIndoe played for Rovers between 2003 and 2006 and insists their on-the-field progress has been "fantastic".
"I haven't been back for three years, I've never actually played at the new stadium and I'm looking forward to that,"said McIndoe.
"We've got to watch out because they are a threat as well, I wouldn't say as much of a goal threat as us. But they can definitely move the ball around well and at home they've had some good results of late so it should be a good game.
"Mr (John) Ryan has piped a lot of money into that club over the last 12 years and progressed them from non-league to the Championship.
"You talk about Bristol City's rise from League One into the Championship and pushing for the Premier League, but Doncaster's rise has been unbelievable.
"I signed with them just when they got out of the Conference and they got promotion back-to-back straight into League One.
"Much credit to them as it is a club that can get 12 to 13,000 every week and to push on with what they are doing at the moment is fantastic."
