Manager Sean O'Driscoll does not have the same resources at his disposal as Sheffield United manager Blackwell but still hopes to maintain his side's current run of form.
Referring to the Blades' FA Cup victory over Charlton Athletic, O'Driscoll said: "We don't have the luxury of being able to do what Kevin did. They have the strength in depth to be able to make five changes and still come through a tie against a side that is desperate to win.Rovers have only one fresh injury worry and will leave the decision as late as possible on whether to include midfielder Brian Stock
"I have no qualms about my team going to Bramall Lane and giving a good account of itself. We have maintained a level of performance all season despite some poor results."
Having expressed fears that Rovers might be distracted by an FA Cup campaign which
now offers the possibility of a fifth-round tie away at Liverpool or Everton, O'Driscoll was delighted with the mood at the club's training ground yesterday.
"No one came in talking about Aston Villa, it was all about Bramall Lane," he said. "Mentally, we are focused, we are back to the Championship, and we know how difficult that task is going to be."
Asked whether he would prefer Liverpool or Everton in the fifth round should his side beat Villa in next week's replay, O'Driscoll joked: "If we beat Aston Villa at Villa Park, then our name is on the Cup.A late decision will be made on whether to include midfielder Brian Stock
