Coppinger's goal proved the difference on Saturday as Rovers beat Blackpool 3-2 to extend their unbeaten league run to six matches, five of which they have won.
The midfielder claims that confidence is now high amongst the squad and although they aren't getting too carried away Coppinger believes that Doncaster can beat the drop.
"I think the confidence is back and the belief is back. We went through a spell of 8 or 9 games were it was a snowball effect and we couldn't couldn't score goals, but we're over that now and hopefully we can secure our Championship status for next season," Coppinger told the club's official website.
"We just don't want this run to end. The lads are together and there's a great deal of belief that we can stay in the Championship this season."
