The Rovers winger sustained an ankle injury and was forced to be substituted just 16 minutes into the 1-0 defeat at Depdale last weekend.

Rovers' physio John Dickens told the Sheffield Star: "Copps has been in for treatment, but it looks as though he's strained his ankle ligaments.

"We'll let the ankle settle down for a couple of days and see how it goes, but it looks like it could take a week or so or a couple of weeks.

"As I said we are not really sure at this stage and we need to let it settle down.

"His ankle was a bit sore today, but he was able to walk around with a brace."
