Bid for Heffernan

After accepting Oldham Athletics six figure bid, Bristol City have now announced that Donny have joined the race to sign their striker. With Marcus Stewart, Leroy Lita and Steve Brooker at the club it would seem that Heffernan is surplus to requirements.

Heffernan has long been rumoured to be a Rovers target and our official site seems convinced we are favourites over Oldham after having a bid accepted.

Heffernan started his playing career for Newton and moved on to Notts County where he had an almost one goal every two game ratio. Bristol City paid a whopping £150,000 for him so I guess we're going to have to be somewhere in that region.
