Doncaster's eighth win in their last ten league games lifted them to 14th in the table - their best placing since early season - and nine points clear of the relegation zone.

Speaking after last nights victory over Charlton Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll:

"The wind and the rain made it difficult for both sides.

"I think most of the players would say that they could do a lot better, but we showed enough to win the game.

"They came at us early on but that didn't surprise me. They had nothing to lose and they had to win the game.

"They threw caution to the wind but I thought that we stood up to it well and showed the bits of quality which helped us win it.

"We conceded a goal to level the scores but again it didn't faze us and I always thought that we had a second goal in us.

"It was a clear-cut penalty from our point of view and Brian did the business.

"I thought that once we got our noses in front for a second time I thought that there was a lot of determination to make sure that we came away with a win."
