Strikers Jason Price, Gareth Taylor, Darren Byfield and Tomi Ameobi, along with centre back Gordon Greer, have all been allowed to leave on free transfers.
Birmingham, newly promoted to the Premier League, are still believed to be keen on signing defensive kingpin Matt Mills and players like Richie Wellens and Brian Stock are bound to attract interest after having outstanding seasons in the Championship.
The Doncaster boss said: "We are certainly not touting players around and I would love to be able to keep them all but we know that other clubs have been looking at some members of our squad.
"We know about the interest in Matt and we have to face up to the possibility that we may lose one or two more.
"If an offer came in it would have to go to the Board.
"Obviously every player has a price but I want to emphasise that we are
not looking to sell anybody."
Although average gates last season were the highest for more than 50 years Rovers were still one of the least well supported clubs in the Championship.
Club owners John Ryan, Dick Watson and Terry Bramall have already injected another £2.4 million between them
Ryan said: "We will get more money from the Championship pool next season and we must be one of the few clubs free from debt.
"But it is a massive business these days and we can't compete in financial terms with established clubs with the capacity to attract average gates double our own.
Ryan emphasised: "We are not a selling club any more and we don't want to lose any of our top players but you can never rule out the possibility that another club will step in with an offer that can't be refused."
If Rovers manage to keep their squad intact O'Driscoll will tinker in the free transfer market and look at the possibility of bringing in players on loan.
He already plans to play games against reserve sides from Liverpool and the two Manchester clubs in pre-season to have a look at players as well as give his own first team match practise.
The other pre-season games currently finalised are at Rotherham on July 25 and a testimonial match for director of football Mickey Walker at home to Wolves on August 1.
Rovers will not have any other pre-season home games because of improvement work being carried out on the Keepmoat pitch during the
summer.
