Rovers entertain Reading tonight at The Keepmoat in their fight for Championship survival.
Frederic Piquionne could be returning to the starting 11, he was ineligible to play against West Ham at the weekend, his last match being against Forest where he hit the back of the net from 35 yards.
It is likely he will replace Mamadou Bagayoko in the starting line-up this evening.
Saunders will be keeping an eye on Shelton Martis' groin injury, Sam Hird is on standby.
Kyle Bennett and El Hadji Diouf both picked up knocks at the weekend but are expected to be given the green light.
The Rovers have lost six out of seven against Reading since their return to the Championship, the only points picked up being a 0-0 draw.
Brian McDermott's squad turn up to The Keepmoat on an incredible eight match winning streak.
A win tonight would see Rovers just one point off safety.
Editors Prediction
I feel that a draw is on the cards after seeing signs of improvement at both Forest and West Ham, so I'm going to say 1-1.
