| The likelihood of Doncaster Rovers adding to their squad before tomorrow's emergency loan deadline appears to be fading.

Although the club's management were out watching games last night, Rovers No 2 Richard O'Kelly admitted that the need to add to the squad is nowhere near as urgent as it was a fortnight ago when Rovers had just one centre-back available prior to the game at Plymouth.
O'Kelly said: "I would think it is doubtful that we'll be bringing anyone in because we've got all these players back and it gives us more strength in depth."
Adam Lockwood and Byron Webster both made their return to action after lengthy lay-offs in yesterday's behind-closed-doors practice game against a Barnsley side at the club's training ground.
O'Kelly said: "Because of the improvements we've made to medical back-up since we've been here players are somewhere near when they come back – they probably just need games."
Fellow centre-back Jason Shackell, who came on for the last 18 minutes in Saturday's win over Queens Park Rangers after recovering from a groin problem, also featured.
O'Kelly said: "They all came through and there would be no problem at all playing any of them at Nottingham Forest on Saturday."
Sean McDaid continued his comeback after an 18 month injury lay-off
Stand-in skipper Martin Woods, suspended at the weekend, also had a run-out as did such as Paul Heffernan, Lewis Guy, Mark Wilson, James Hayter and John Spicer - none of whom have started in recent league games. |
