Doncaster Rovers skipper Brian Stock could feature in Saturday's game against Ipswich Town at Portman Road
Stock has suffered no reaction to either the back problem which kept him out for several weeks, or the slight calf injury he sustained when he resumed training last week.
Stock, who feels that the injection into the inflamed nerve in his lower back has been successful, is keen to get back playing.
Fellow midfielder James Coppinger could also feature at Portman Road. The in-form Coppinger missed Saturday's defeat against West Bromwich Albion after suffering an ankle injury in training on the eve of the game.
But providing that he came through yesterday's light training session on the squad's day off without suffering any adverse reaction overnight, he is likely to join in today's training session,
James Hayer will definitely be available.
Hayter collided with a post late on in Saturday's game and seemed to be holding his arm. But he suffered no serious damage and has trained all week.
Rovers No 2 Richard O'Kelly is hoping that Rovers can bounce back from three successive defeats and climb back into the top ten.
But he warns that it won't be easy.#
"By all accounts they were unlucky to lose 3-0 against Nottingham Forest," he said,
"Ipswich are a good football side and they are strong and organised.
"They've got a threat up front with Murphy and young Wickham. They are both very dangerous at set-pieces along with McAuley and Walters.
"They all attack the ball well in the box so it will be tough.
"They have been in danger of getting dragged into the relegation dogfight on several occasions but you always felt they have got too much quality to go down and that's been proved right,
"I think that Roy Keane has stuck with the majority of his players he's got at the club and added a few more and he's turned things around.
"That's what we did last season when we were battling against relegation.
"You can't go around changing things left right and centre
