Doncaster striker talks about the visit to promotion hopefuls Cardiff City
But in-form Paul Heffernan knows that it won't be easy to defeat the Bluebirds, who have been beaten on home soil only by the current top two."It will be another tough test for us," said Heffernan.
"Cardiff are going well and if they win their games in hand they could be up there challenging for an automatic promotion spot. They are moving to a new stadium next season and I'm sure that they'd love to go into it as a Premier League club.
"They suffered a surprise defeat against Southampton last weekend - which I think was their first league defeat of the year - but they bounced back to beat Barnsley in midweek.
"It is not really surprising that they are doing so well after getting through to last year's FA Cup final.
"They are a good all-round side and they have a lot of good players.
"We'll certainly have to keep a close eye on striker Ross McCormack, who I remember from his time here on loan several seasons ago when he was just a young lad at Rangers.
"He's done well since joining Cardiff. He isn't the biggest of players but he gets in behind defenders and gets in some good positions and is a threat in the box.
"They've got other players who can cause teams problems and they don't tend to give much away at the back."
Heffernan, who had little opportunity to add to his account in Tuesday's 2-1 win at wet and windy Charlton, can expect to again find himself a marked man after scoring in four of Rovers last seven league games.
"I feel confident of scoring in every game I play," he said.
