| Signed in the summer from Exeter City after numerous previous attempts by Manager Dave Penney to sign him. Began his career with Darlington, coming through their Youth system before Newcastle United paid £250,000 to take him to St.James Park in March 1998. In four years he made just one substitute appearance in the Premier League. After two different loan spells at Hartlepool United he joined Exeter City in the summer of 2002 but was relegated from the League to the Conference with them at the end of that season. |
